Dillon Mansour is a drummer, percussionist, composer, and educator from Hartland, WI, now living in New York City.  Being involved with classical percussion, drumline and jazz drumming at an early age, he received various honors for his ability as both performer and leader. Some recognition of his talents includes outstanding performer awards from jazz competitions at UW Steven's Point  and Lawrence University Conservatory, as well as similar awards from programs including UW Green Bay's "Jazz on the Bay" and Birch Creek's Percussion and Steelband Session. He has also had numerous WSMA (Wisconsin School Music Association)  Solo and Ensemble State appearances, received a WSMA Exemplary Soloist Award,  and received of the John Philip Sousa Award. Later in his career, before moving from the Midwest, Dillon was also able to perform in a headlining group at Virginia Beach's Pan Fest in 2016.


                 Now in New York City, Dillon performs regularly with his trio playing all original compositions at various venues such as Silvana, ShapeShifter Lab, Tomi Jazz, and Rockwood Music Hall. He also tours around the country as performer and clinician at numerous academic institutions and youth music programs (i.e. Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra). Currently he is on staff for Mineola (Long Island, NY) High School's Music Department and teaches privately.
